Web Applications Developer

As a web applications developer you will be able to work on all aspects of our platform based on

your interests. We have opportunities for engineers who specialize in user-interface, backend,

content management, messaging, database systems and web services. Regardless of which

components you touch, we'll want you to be involved in design, coding and testing. We primarily

work with Windows, PHP, JavaScript and PostgreSQL, but we use other technologies including

MapServer, JAVA, Visual Basic, ArcGIS, Access, SQL and scripting languages where appropriate.

Requirements BS preferred.  Proficiency with any or all is desired:

PHP 5, Javascript, AJAX, CSS, PostgreSQL, Apache, XML/XSLT, Web Services, MapServer and/or

MapLayer desired. Additional knowledge/experience with:

OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis & Design), Agile Development Methodology, Design Patterns

UML, PHP Application Frameworks, Javascript Libraries, Source Control Management Systems

IDEs. Database Design, or Software Testing Frameworks helpful.

Hours: 40 per week - Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
